Who is collecting your information

James Mark Lewis, trading as James Mark Digital, ABN 74 875 842 482, Melbourne, Australia. Contact me at james.lewis@jamesmark.com.au.

When you start an AI Decision Brief

The brief asks for your name, email and company at the start. Your website and phone number are optional. Choosing to start saves these details so I can identify your brief. Each time you choose to save a section or continue, the answers in that section are saved too. I can therefore receive the details and saved answers even if you do not finish. Text you have only typed into an unsaved section is not sent as an assessment answer.

The questions cover your business priority, intended outcome, current systems, information, governance, people, timing, investment planning and role in the decision. Please describe the situation without including customer records, personal information about staff, passwords or confidential documents.

Cloudflare stores the submitted details, saved answers and a delivery record. Make transfers them to GoHighLevel as a contact, a prospect card and supporting notes. You can read and save your completed brief here. A brief or discussion acknowledgement is emailed only after you verify your address with a short-lived, single-use code; the code email contains no brief answers. I keep a copy of the brief and acknowledgement emails. They help me understand your situation, prepare for a conversation and assess where I may be able to help. The resulting brief is based on your answers and defined rules; it does not confirm your readiness, project value or suitability for a particular AI product. I make any final assessment of whether an engagement is suitable.

An essential cookie gives this browser access for up to 30 minutes by default. You can choose to remember a private device for up to seven days; leave this unticked on shared devices. Saved details stay hidden until you choose to reopen them. Forget this device revokes browser access and clears the cookie, but does not delete records already submitted. Contact me to request deletion. This is separate from analytics and advertising permission. Cloudflare Turnstile checks for automated abuse. Assessment answers and contact details are not sent to an AI model, analytics or advertising tools by the brief.

With your analytics permission, Google Analytics records visits to the brief and milestones such as starting, saving a section, completing the brief and requesting a conversation. These milestone events contain no answers, contact details or brief identifiers. Advertising tracking stays disabled throughout the brief. You can change your analytics choice through Privacy settings.

The optional marketing checkbox starts unticked. Starting or completing the brief does not automatically enrol you in a campaign, and a marketing preference does not override an existing unsubscribe. Requesting a conversation records that request with your brief. You can contact me by email instead, or ask about access, correction and deletion using the details below.

What you are asked to provide

The enquiry form asks for your name, work email, company, service interest and a short description of what you would like to improve. Your role, phone number and preferred start are optional. If you contact me by email or another channel, I receive the details you choose to share there.

Please provide only what is needed to understand your enquiry. Do not include passwords, sensitive personal information, customer records or confidential documents. If you mention another person, make sure you are authorised to share their details.

Sending an enquiry also records which page you used and an enquiry reference to help identify repeat delivery. Form and security providers process technical information such as your IP address and browser details to deliver the enquiry and check for spam.

Why it is collected

I use your details to understand your enquiry, assess the fit, reply, arrange a conversation and keep a record of our correspondence. If we agree to work together, relevant details may become part of our client and engagement records.

You choose whether to provide information. Without sufficient context and a way to contact you, I may be unable to respond or assess your enquiry. You can leave optional form fields blank or email me instead.

Who may receive it

Formspark receives and stores online enquiries and sends them through Make to GoHighLevel, where I manage contact details and enquiry records. These services process the details you submit. Email notifications provide another copy of the enquiry in Google Workspace.

Cloudflare Turnstile checks browser and connection signals to help block automated abuse. Formspark also uses OOPSpam to screen submission content, email addresses and IP addresses for spam. These security checks are separate from optional analytics and advertising.

Enquiries received by email and other channels may also be handled using Google Workspace and GoHighLevel, and by people authorised to help administer or deliver the work. I may disclose information where required or permitted by law.

Some providers may store or access information outside Australia, including in the United States. Formspark states that its data is stored in Ireland and Germany; some of its security providers process information in the United States. The privacy policy explains the providers, overseas processing, security and retention. Contact me if you need details about the providers used for your enquiry.

Your enquiry and marketing choices

An enquiry is a request for a response, not an automatic subscription to promotional emails. Website analytics and advertising are separate choices, managed through Privacy settings. Declining those tools does not prevent you from contacting me or completing the form's security check.

Access, correction and questions

You can ask to access or correct your information, request deletion where it is no longer needed, or raise a privacy concern by emailing james.lewis@jamesmark.com.au. The privacy policy explains how requests and complaints are handled.
